It’s great to see Queen Latifah (actress, singer, songwriter and TV personality) getting out to ride. And instead of a sporting a posh new Ducati or Triumph, which are the Hollywood go-to rides, Queen Latifah is seen riding on an impressive BMW R1200GS Adveture bike! I guess she can join Ewan McGregor and company as they travel around the world for any future riding adventures.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (aka Brangelina) lived happily, hopping around town without a care and enjoying a casual ride on a Yamaha scooter. Obviously times have changed quite a bit, as the once happy couple is now embroiled in a bitter divorce. But it is nice to look back and reminisce about a happier time in Tinseltown.
Ewan McGregor is a well-known motorcycle fanatic. Among is many riding adventures, his hit television program Long Way Round feature Ewan (and his buddy Charley Boorman) traveling around the world on their BMW R1150GS motorcycles. Even though they would move to other manufacturers like KTM in future series, they certainly put the BMWs to the test and showed just how far German engineering could carry you on two wheels.
Arguably the most famous and iconic movie star and motorcycle combination, Steve McQueen and his Triumph (1961 Triumph TR6 Trophy Bird, to be exact) from The Great Escape made movie history when it screens in 1963. McQueen is said to have owned over two hundred motorcycles in his estate when he passed away. His incredible skills riding both on set and on professional race tracks easily makes him one of the most important celebrity motorcycle fanatics of all time.
