Seeing Arnold on a big motorcycle brings back memories on him as the Terminator, but instead of a big Harley Davidson, it’s good to see him on another American classic from Indian Motorcycles.

Most may have assumed the larger-than-life motorcycle that Prince rode from his famous movie debut in Purple Rain was a big Harley-Davidson or something along those lines. But you’d be surprised to know it was actually a custom 1981 Honda CB400A, a economical mid-sized bike that was only 400cc and an automatic (in a sense). Also known as the Hawk Hondamatic, the motorcycle lacked a clutch and only needed a shifter from from neutral to first and second to get around.
There are few movies in history that have done as much for the Harley-Davidson brand as Peter Fonda did in his classic film, Easy Rider. Released in 1969, “Captain America” (on his Stars and Stripes Custom Harley-Davidson Hydra Glide) established a new definition of cool, antiestablishment, cross country motorcycle cruising. It also helped start the career of one of the all-time Hollywood greats, Jack Nicholson. The bike is said to have fetched over a million dollars a few years ago at auction.
